This Privacy Policy applies to the BabyLingo mobile application ("Application"), created and provided by ORBBIS PROMOCAO DE VENDAS LTDA ("Service Provider"), offered as a Freemium service. This Service is provided "AS IS." By using BabyLingo, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

The Application automatically collects certain information and may also request data directly from users to improve its functionality. This includes, but is not limited to, the following Personally Identifiable Information (PII): name, email address, device identifiers (app ID, IP address, device model, operating system), social login data (Apple ID, Google ID, profile photo), app usage data (session time, pages visited, interactions), transactional payment information processed by third parties (Apple Pay, Google Play), analytics data (Clarity for Apps, Google Analytics), text or information voluntarily entered by users in AI interactions, and optional data such as baby's date of birth and usage preferences.

BabyLingo integrates with OpenAI's ChatGPT API to generate educational and interactive content. Texts or information voluntarily entered by users may be processed securely by OpenAI's systems, but are never used for model training or shared beyond the app's operational scope.

Data is retained as long as necessary to operate the Application and comply with legal obligations. Users may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting babylingoapp@gmail.com. Requests will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Collected data may only be shared in the following cases: when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or with trusted partners under confidentiality agreements. No personal data is sold or shared for external advertising purposes.

BabyLingo is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided personal information, they should contact babylingoapp@gmail.com immediately for removal. Optional information such as a baby's date of birth is processed solely to personalize the caregiver's experience and is never shared with third parties.

The information provided in BabyLingo is based on research from reputable universities and peer-reviewed scientific sources worldwide. All educational content is reviewed and compiled to inform and support parents and caregivers in their learning journey.

However, the content provided is for educational purposes only and not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. While the Service Provider strives to ensure that content is accurate and up to date, medical practices and research may vary by region. ORBBIS Promoção de Vendas LTDA assumes no liability for decisions made based on the information provided in BabyLingo. The content is offered "as is" and solely for general informational purposes. Users are encouraged to consult licensed healthcare professionals for personalized advice.

We apply technical and administrative measures to protect personal data, including encryption, access control, and secure cloud storage. However, no system is entirely immune to risks. Use of the Application implies acknowledgment of this residual risk.

Users may stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application. To permanently delete data, contact babylingoapp@gmail.com.

Data may be processed on servers located outside Brazil, with compliance ensured under international privacy standards.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Significant changes will be announced within the app. Continued use of BabyLingo after updates implies acceptance of the revised terms.
